COCONUT/ THENGAI CHUTNEY



Coconut Chutney is a easy Chutney to prepare within minutes. It goes well with idly and dosa. 

Preparation time: 5minutes
Cooking time: 10minutes 
Serves: 2 

What we need : 
Coconut - handful 
Fried gram/pottu kadalai- 1/2 cup
Ginger- 1 piece 
Green chillies- 3-4
Curry leaves-1 string
Salt

For seasoning: 
Oil- 1tsp 
Mustard seeds and Cumin- 1tsp 
Curry leaves 

METHOD: 

Take all the ingredients READY. 


Put coconut, green chillies and ginger in a blender.
Add salt to it.

Blend it for few seconds. Now add curry leaves and fried gram into it.
Add lil water and blend it to a smooth paste.


Transfer it to a bowl. Add the seasoning..


READY TO SERVE!!!
