Rava KESARI. It is an easy sweet which often we all south Indians make it in our house for occasions. Simple ingredients with easy steps makes anyone can easily make it within minutes!! Here is the simple steps to try..
PREPARATION TIME: 5 MINUTES
COOKING TIME: 15 MINUTES
SERVES 4-5
What we need:
Rava -1cup
Sugar -1cup
Cardamon- 2 or 3 crushed
Ghee -2-3tbsp
Cashewsand dry grapes
Food colour a pinch
Water -3cups
Method:
Keep a non stick pan in medium flame. Add rava and roast it till brown.
Transfer it to a plate, in the same pan add ghee and roast cashews and dry grapes.
Transfer it to another plate, now add water and crushed Cardamons.
Add food colour, add sugar in it, mix until sugar melts.
Let it boil, now add the roasted rava and bring the flame into simmer and mix.
Switch off the flame when rava boiled and add cashews and grapes.
Ready to serve!!!

NOTE:
* If you want more sweetness add extra 1/4cup or 1/2cup of sugar according to your taste.
* when adding rava, mix gently. Do not make any lumps to form.
* whatever dry fruits you wish you can add.
