NAATU KOZHI KUZHAMBU



Hello everyone!! Happy sunday!!

This is the sunday after purattasi, we dont eat non veg during this month.. so as the fasting got over, today I made Naatu kozhi kuzhambu.. my mom used to prepare this dish when we have cold for idly especially sunday morning.. Perfect one in the Sunday morning.. this dish is not a complicated one, it is very easy also very very tasty one.. do try it and enjoy!! Give me ur feedbacks!!

PREPARATION TIME:10 MINUTES
COOKING TIME:30 MINUTES
SERVES: 3

What we need:
Naatu kozhi -1/2kg
Onion -1
Garlic pods -10
Chilli powder -1 ½ tbsp
Turmeric powder -1tsp
Pepper powder -2-3tbsp
Salt required
Oil -1tsp
Mustard seeds -1tsp
Curry leaves

METHOD:
Clean, cut and wash the chicken thoroughly. Chop the onions.
Take the chicken in pressure cooker, add 1 ½ cup of water, turmeric powder, salt, chilli powder, onions.
Close the lid and leave it for 4 whistles. Keep it aside till the pressure goes off.
Crush the garlic pods. I do not use mixer.
After the pressure goes off, open the lid.
Heat a pan add oil and add mustard seeds, curry leaves. When it splutters add the chicken. Add crushed garlic and pepper powder.
Let it be in medium flame till oil separates from it.
Switch off the stove add curry leaves and serve hot with rice or idly !!

In a pressure cooker add chicken, water, turmeric powder 
Add salt 

Add chilli powder 

Add onions

Close the lid and leave it for 4 whistles 

Open the lid after the pressure goes off 

Heat a pan add oil and seasoning 

Now add chicken and crushed garlic 


Add pepper powder and let it for few minutes

Ready to serve!!

NOTES: *you can make it dry chicken roast by leaving it in medium flame till all the water dries. It ll go well with rasam.
*i crushed the garlic pods in hand , you can skip adding pepper powder and you can grind whole peppercorns and the garlic and add.
