EASY CHICKEN LEG FRY

Chicken leg fry. Kids favourite one. Try this and make your kids happy. 
Here is the recipe and step by step pictures.

Preparation time: 15minutes 
Marination time: 2 hours or overnight
Cooking time: 15minutes 

What we need : 
Chicken legs - 6 
Red chilli powder- 2tbsp 
Turmeric powder- 1tsp 
Garam masala powder- 2tsp 
Ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp 
Cumin powder - 2tsp 
Salt as needed 
Corn flour- 2tbsp 
Lemon juice - 1tbsp 
Food colour- a pinch(optional)
Oil for frying

METHOD :

Ingredients  

Make slits using knife. Add in turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder.  

Add in ginger garlic paste, salt and Cumin powder to it. 

Add in corn flour and food colour a pinch. 

Mix it well. Add lemon juice to it. Marinate it for 2hours. Overnight marination is good. 

Now heat a pan/kadai, add oil in it. Deep fry the chicken legs one by one till golden colour.

Tapioca / maravalli kizhangu is high in carbohydrates. I had tapioca in home, so thought of making chips for the first time and it came out good. It is a crunchy and tasty snack. Here is the steps, how to make...

Preparation time: 30minutes 
Cooking time: 5minutes 
Serves: 2 

What we need : 
Tapioca- 250grams
Red chilli powder - 1tsp 
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Oil for frying

METHOD: 
Wash and peel off the skin of tapioca/maravalli kizhangu.

Slice the tapioca like this.

Spread it in clean towel under fan for 1/2 an hour.

Now heat oil in kadai for frying.. let it heat. Add the tapioca slices in the kadai for frying. Deep fry it until it turns brown. 

For spiciness, add red chilli powder and salt to it and mix well.

SERVE hot!!

GARLIC PRAWN PASTA

Garlic PRAWN PASTA.. I tried this dish on Sunday, it was so yummy.. I bought pasta few days back, when I was thinking about to try new dish with this, I got an idea and decided to try it with prawns and in garlic flavour. Mouth watering.. beyond my expectations it turned out so good.. keep it in a must try list..

Preparation time: 10minutes 
cooking time: 15minutes 
Serves: 1person 

What we need :
Pasta- 1cup 
Prawn- 1/4cup
Egg- 1 
Onion- 1 
Green chillies-2 
Garlic and ginger- 2tbsp 
Spring Onion- few
Salt 
Turmeric powder-1tsp 
Red chilli powder-1/2tsp
Pepper powder- 2tsp
Butter- 3tbsp 
Soya sauce-1tsp 
Red chilli sauce-1tsp

METHOD  : 

Ingredients 

Cook the pasta in salted water with 1tsp of oil. Take cooked pasta in a bowl, beat the EGG in a bowl with pepper powder, clean, wash and marinate the prawns with turmeric powder, salt, red chilli powder. 

Heat a non stick pan add 1tsp butter, add the beaten EGG and scramble it.
Transfer it to a bowl, add in PRAWN and saute for few minutes, transfer it to a bowl.  

Add butter to the same pan, add garlic and ginger to it. Saute till it turns golden brown. 

Now add green chillies and sliced onions. Saute. Add spring onions..

Now add in soya sauce and red chilli sauce.

Add in cooked pasta and salt. 

Add in scrambled eggs and prawns. Sprinkle spring onions and coriander leaves and garnish..

READY TO SERVE HOT!!!

CHICKEN BIRIYANI

Biriyani is the rice dish, which is full of flavours and aroma.. most favourite for many ppl. Hot biriyani with a raita fills our tummy full.. i already have chicken Biriyani in pressure style in my blog. Here is the recipe for the easy chicken Biriyani. Check out here..

Preparation time : 10minutes 
cooking time: 40minutes
Serves: 13 to 14 ppl

What we need:
Basmati rice- 1 1/2kg
Onions- 6 
Tomatoes- 5 
Green chillies- 2 or 3 
Ginger garlic paste- 3tbsp
Mint leaves- 1 bunch
Ghee- 3tbsp
Oil- 2tbsp
Whole Garam masala spices 
Salt as needed 
Water as needed 

For marination:
Chicken- 1 1/2kg
Curd- 1/4cup
Ginger garlic paste- 1tbsp 
Turmeric powder- 1tsp 
Red chilli powder- 2tbsp 
Salt- 1tbsp

METHOD: 

Ingredients 

For marination.. Add the given ingredients in chicken, marinate it for 1 or 2 hours


Heat a heavy base vessel, add ghee, oil. Add whole garam masala spices, add onions sliced, green chillies and saute..

Saute the onions till golden brown, now add in tomatoes. 

When the tomatoes turns mushy, add in ginger garlic paste and mint leaves to it. 

Now add in marinated chicken and saute for few minutes. 

Add in water. Wait let it boil. 

Now add in rice. Close the lid. Leave it in medium flame for 15 minutes and turn the heat to simmer, leaves it for 10minutes. Open the lid and puff the rice up.

READY TO SERVE!!!

NOTE: 
*measure the rice in cup before marination. So that we can measure the water in the same cup. For 1cup rice add 2cupsof water.
*do not over mix after adding the rice, rice may break easily.
*I have not added any food colour to it. If you want you can add.
